Three simple things before you walk-in
Radiography needs almost nothing from you in advance. Arrive with your order during business hours and we handle everything else.
Bring the order from your doctor
No appointment is necessary, though a physician referral is. It tells the technologist which region to image and how many views the radiologist will need to answer the question.
Dress with the imaging area in mind
Skip clothing with zippers, snaps, underwire or heavy embellishment near the body part being filmed. Metal blocks the beam and casts shadows that can obscure genuine findings.
Mention pregnancy before we begin
If pregnancy is possible, say so during check in. Shielding, an adjusted approach or a different study altogether can be arranged before any exposure takes place.
